"Bordeaux mixture" is used for the preparation of Bordeaux liquid.
The drug is used to combat various diseases of crops: Late blight and kokkomikoza; Scab and rust; Peach leaf curl and black rot; Mildew and Anthracnose; Different types of leaf spots and pine needles. This means spray fruit trees (quince, Apple and pear, apricot, cherry, plum, peach, cherry), berry bushes (currant, gooseberry, raspberry), as well as potatoes and beets, cucumbers and tomatoes, melons and watermelons, vine, etc.

1. To prepare 10 litres of 1% (copper sulfate) solution of Bordeaux liquid 100 g of copper sulfate must be dissolved in 2 litres of water (water temperature is not higher than +50°C), the volume of the solution to bring cold water to 5 litres.
2. The resulting solution of copper sulfate is slowly poured with a mandatory cross-linking of the liquid to a solution of calcium hydroxide.
3. Checking the quality of the Bordeaux liquid can be carried out by lowering a pure iron nail into it: if a copper plaque appears on the iron, a solution of calcium hydroxide should be added.
4. Bordeaux liquid should be prepared immediately before spraying and used on the same day.
5. You can not prepare a solution in an iron container!
6. Working solution can not be stored (!). If you exceed the amount of vitriol, you risk burning plants. The correct preparation can be checked with an iron nail.
